Nates West End

Nate’s West End Seafood & Steak House is offering freshly cooked Red Snapper in a variety of ways. Choose from Stuffed, Blackened, Pecan Crusted, Fried, Grilled, Pontchartrain or Southwest Style. Savor your meal with a glass of wine or a cocktail from their full bar.

Eatcetera

Inspired by traditional Italian Spumoni Ice Cream their Spumoni Cheesecake features luscious layers of chocolate, pistachio and maraschino atop a rich dark chocolate crust. This is just one of their excellent desert options.

eatcetera offers a variety of menu items that include sandwiches, soups, salads, panini and drinks.

eatcetera is located in historic downtown Galveston at 408 25th Street near the corner of Market and 25th. They are open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 409-762-0803.

Star Drug Store

Star Drug Store is now offering box lunches for delivery. Orders can be made from the regular menu or chosen from the new box lunch menu, which are available for $8.50 each.

Orders must be placed by 10:30 a.m. and there is a $30 minimum order. Deliveries are made by around 11:30 a.m. An online order form is available at www.galvestonstardrug.com

Mosquito Café

If you want to order a Quesadilla at Mosquito you’ll have to check the chalk board as it’s a special dish. You choose what you want included inside of the quesadilla. Served for lunch.

Mosquito Cafe now offers $10 bottle house wines on Wednesdays and Thursdays and breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Cafe is conveniently located at 628 14th Street on the East End. They are open Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Monday. Call 409-763-1010.

Courtyard Café

Weinerschnitzel (hand pounded pork tenderloin), German potato salad, red cabbage and homemade bread, the daily dinner special.
Menu items are cooked with fresh ingredients. A small chalkboard serves as the menu.

The Courtyard Cafe is located at 2519 Market Street. The restaurant features both inside and outside seating. Dinner is being served Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m..

Avery’s

Avery’s signature Baby Back Ribs featured with Bubba Q Sauce is the perfect selection for dining during July. Owner and Chef Todd Mackey makes the best ribs and sauce ... he even sells the sauce!

Avery’s Bayside Café (open daily) itself is a unique dining experience in that it is built on stilts and situated right on the bay. Avery’s is located on the West End at 21706 Burnet Drive in the Sea Isle subdivision.

Reservations are not required but are recommended on the weekends and evenings. Casual dress. Call 409-737-5151.
